I will start by saying that this isn’t a new thing - we did this ~6 years ago. I realize this is a really tough ask, but here's my best shot: if you used Firefox/Thunderbird or a similar desktop email client in that time, then surely the developers of Filler for Linux would have to look at how they implemented the feature in their product, and maybe even put it into the next version. (And yes, the above is a “maybe;” I know for a fact Filler developers have said they would!) If you're not using such an application on your Linux desktop, then you're simply not using the best of everything.
