In filling out the GATE application form, I used a black and white PDF of my Aadhaar to upload, not a colored PDF. Will there be any problem with that?
Even though it has been mentioned in the brochure of gate that the photo should be with white or any light colour background, it is not necessary. I had uploaded a photo with red background and the application was accepted without any issue whatsoever. The condition for white background is provided only to get clear outlined photos and to prevent any ambiguity I guess. So as far as the photo is clear..you don't need to worry. In case of any changes in application form…you can do the changes in October end or in November when the site provides a link for correction but some money is charged for making the changes so better avoid any mistakes as far as possible by checking the form twice before submitting and even if you do any mistake…there’s no need to worry! As far as the exam is concerned. I won this exam the second time I got it. Now with some of the new rules that were introduced during the exam I think I can take the most difficult exams in the future like this and get a clean A, and I'm actually really excited, and I want to try it out this fall in my senior year. .
